Isle of Wight Ferries

There are three vehicle ferry and three foot passenger only routes to the Isle of Wight. Red Funnel operates a car ferry between Southampton and East Cowes while Wightlink operates two car ferry routes, one from Lymington to Yarmouth and the other from Portsmouth to Fishbourne. Hovertravel offer a remarkably quick foot passenger route between Southsea and Ryde which takes just 10 minutes.

All of the ferry companies are highly experienced providing a professional service in all areas and have similar pricing structures so we are unable to recommend just one. As the Isle of Wight is relatively small your choice of ferry provider will probably hinge largely on which mainland port you wish to sail from.

Each of the ferry companies run some great specials and we recommend that you check their websites for the latest money saving offers. Note that the times you choose to sail have a huge effect on the price you pay.
