About Appley Manor Hotel

Appley Manor Hotel was built in 1850 as a magnificent Victorian residence, with architecture copying that of Osborne House in East Cowes, which was Queen Victoria´s summer retreat. It features a splendid observation tower overlooking the Solent, as was fashionable in Victorian times on the Isle of Wight. Today, Appley Manor Hotel has been extensively refurbished to include all the comforts you would expect of a modern hotel but still retains the magnificence of its original Victorian splendour.

All rooms are en-suite with shower and bath and include direct dial telephones, colour televisions and tea & coffee making facilities. Appley Manor is situated on the outskirts of Ryde and is only a short distance from the popular sailing village of Seaview. Ryde´s glorious sandy beaches are only a short walk away and the town´s ice rink, 10 pin bowling alley, indoor swimming pool, boating lake and town centre are all nearby. For the younger at heart, Ryde can offer good nightlife, though Appley Manor is distanced far enough away to ensure your stay is peaceful. Ryde, popularly known as the gateway to the Isle of Wight is an ideal base to explore our beautiful island.

Appley Manor Hotel is well suited to business people, families or couples looking for a peaceful break. The hotel is connected to The Manor Inn Restaurant, which serves food from 11am to 9pm every day. For the business person, breakfast is available from 7.15am. The hotel also caters for conferences, seminars, private functions and weddings. We have private meeting rooms available with buffet food or seated meals available throughout the day.
